Sweet Moments

Sometimes , a few pictures stay in your head and evoke the same emotion every time you look at them.Am posting one of it here.I bumped into this picture while I was reading somebody else's blog on OCC (Open Coffee Club for enterpreneurs and wannabe entrepreneurs) and I immediately felt like posting it here and writing about it.

Marriage is all about syncing with your partner and doing things in tandem. We had the lovely opportunity to create Muziboo and work on it together. We have had our share and still have our share of fights about whats wrong or who is right. But in spite of all that, there is the fun of creating something and making it grow.Muziboo is just born and is trying to find a footing.

The picture is a shot of us discussing muziboo with the audience.Sweet picture.Sweet moment.

Sophomoric Literary Inclinations...

Everybody takes a fancy for poetry at some point or the other and i took it a bit more seriously in college and created a few.Felt dumb when i read them years later when i decided poems have obnoxiously high levels of romance and exaggeration.i dont write anymore, but wanted to know what people from the poetic fraternity felt about my sophomoric literary binge and hence posted them in a few forums. nice to see so many of them, young and old , still alive with passion for poems while i strangely felt i grew out of the fancy wonderland of poetry!!

A whiff of vintage romance…

A bunch of chivalrous 40 plus “salt-pepper” haired men , rock n rolling away Elvis and Beatles and an occasional Jazz of Louis Amstrong or Miles Davis to entertain the real hip twentyinsh and a scant fortyish audience sipping away iced teas n caffines….Dats “Java City” for Bangaloreans on Saturday n Sunday evenings!!! The strong flavor of coffee n tobacco suspended in the air with the crowd going ecstatic chorusing “Tequila” sorta makes the place addictive. Dont they play the historical “Tequila” number better than “ The Champs” themselves !..well, it is no wonder, considering they being the only seven piece Jazz band in the whole of Bangalore , completing the picture with trumpet and sax…well, I sincerely miss a dance floor where one can waltz away to their Jazz like the 70’s shown in movies, a bit of romance..vintage romanceJ
